The possum is one of nature’s uglier specimens. Everything from their long snouts to their beady eyes to their bald, pink, rat-like tails to their perpetually mangy looking fur is singularly unattractive. They shuffle along the ground awkwardly, eat trash, hiss and bear their snaggled teeth nastily if cornered, and frequently fall victim to cars on roads all over America (which does nothing for their already homely looks). Who could ever love a possum except . . .

another possum?
